The BrakeSmart™ controller will automatically compensate for electric brake fade and will constantly keep your brakes at their maximum performance. You've probably heard how great pendulum style brake controllers are. The BrakeSmart™ trailer brake controller goes one better by sensing the truck's pedal pressure with its solid-state pressure sensor, and activating the trailer's brakes proportionally in connection with its size and weight. BrakeSmart™ is the only true proportional brake controller on the market today, placing it light years ahead of the competition.
