Bottom Dumps

Increase your payload and reduce unnecessary weight with Trail King's line of lightweight (12,600 lbs.) bottom dump trailers. Manufactured with high-strength steel, these unitized bottom dumps are designed with extra consideration to critical stress areas in order to minimize damage that can occur as a result of twisting and flexing of the frame. An 18-, 20- or 22-cu. yd. hopper can be specified on either the 2- or 3-axle model.

Designed for on-highway use with maximum payload. Lightweight crossbraces tie the frame together in a way that minimizes the flexing and twisting that can cause cracking in critical stress areas. Replaceable, reinforced wooden extensions provide protection to hopper edges and added capacity.

Construction Live Bottom
A proven, reliable, and low maintenance performer, Trail King's Live Bottom Construction Trailer features a patented sunchronized drive system with a heavy duty self-oiled roller chain system. Rubber flashing and a belt scraper keep the system clean as the load is carried toward the rear on a continuous rubber belt. Updated in 1993, this system has had tremendous success with no reported failures.

Construction OLB (Over-the-fifth-wheel Live Bottom)
Innovative over-the-fifth-wheel body distributes weight over the entire length of the tractor and trailer, including the steer axle, for maximum payloads within legal limits. Coupled with short wheelbase tractors, these combinations can be highly maneuverable.

Advantage OLB (Over-the-fifth-wheel Live Bottom)

TKSSD
The TKSSD has everything it takes to be the perfect aggregate hauling trailer. Its tub is constructed of AR-400 or equivalent steel, with a Brinell hardness of 400. This means that, while the TKSSD is versatile enough to handle sand, gravel and crushed stone, it also had the strength and abrasion resistance to handle shot rock, demolition, rip rap and other abrasive loads.
