January 16, 2014
If you haven't been to the National Western Stock Show yet, you aren't out of time! The nation's largest livestock entertainment event runs until January 26th, and there's still plenty to see! Here are a few more of our picks for events before the NWSS leaves for another year.
Boots Night Out Frontier Pro Rodeo. On Friday, January 17th, you can get two tickets to catch the Frontier Airlines Pro Rodeo featuring Mutton Bustin' and the Westernaires for only $39, and it includes two drinks. It's the perfect affordable date, and it starts at 7:30 in the Coliseum.
Wild West Show. Paying homage to the legendary Buffalo Bill Wild West shows of the late 1800's, the Wild West Show is great entertainment for the entire family, with a stagecoach holdup, western dancing, American Indian dancing, and more! You can get a family four-pack deal which includes 4 tickets and 4 hot dogs, chips, and drinks for $99. There is a show Saturday the 18th at 5pm, and a show Sunday the 19th at 4pm, both in the Events Center.
An Evening of Dancing Horses. Combining the elegance of formal dressage, freestyle reining and other equestrian disciplines with the magic music of the Denver Brass, An Evening of Dancing Horses is a must-see for anyone who appreciates the synergy of horsemanship and beautiful music.
Free Day. On January 21st all grounds admission is free, thanks to MetroPCS. If you want to see the sights of the stock show without paying for entry, this is your chance!
If you don't get a chance to catch the NWSS this year, there's always next year, or perhaps another event closer to your neck of the woods. As always, if you're looking for a new horse trailer to take your stock to a show, check out our selection today!
