The size needed will depend on the purpose of the flatbed trailer use.   These trailers are constructed as all steel, all aluminum, or a combination of both.  Flatbed trailers commonly haul, but are not limited to:  lumber, pallet freight, steel piping, landscape material, hay, etc.

What is the longest flatbed trailer?
