Transwest is seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist to maintain exceptional customer relationships, post payments, reconcile accounts, and follow up on delinquent accounts. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage customer accounts and provide excellent customer service.
- Accept and post payments across 2 separate ERP systems.
- Follow up on unpaid invoices and delinquent accounts.
- Resolve invoicing and payment discrepancies.
- Coordinate and resolve collections by examining customer payment plans, payment history, credit line, etc.
- Post and reconcile daily cash transactions.
- Post journal entries.
- Clean and maintain accounting schedules.
- Send customer statements.
- Protect the organization’s value by keeping information confidential.
- Provide support to other Transwest team members.
- Other duties as assigned by manager.
WORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL ABILITIES:
- Requires frequent sitting, standing, balancing, bending or stooping for prolonged
- periods of time.
- Requires eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity sufficient to operate a keyboard, photocopier, telephone, calculator, and other office equipment.
- Ability to communicate by providing verbal / written feedback in a professional manner.
- Ability to receive and analyze data and input into a computer.
- Normal range of hearing and vision.
REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid Driver's License and MVR in good standing.
- 2 years of accounting experience.
- Ability to multitask.
- Strong organization skills.
- Strong data entry and math skills.
- Strong critical thinking skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
- Ability to successfully complete a General Abilities Assessment and pass a post-offer background check, physical and drug screening.
PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:
- Accounting degree.
- Knowledge of Karmak/CDK or dealership experience is a plus.

- Compensation Range: $24.00 - $27.00
