Position Summary
The Parts Manager is responsible for leading all aspects of the Parts Department to ensure an exceptional customer experience while driving profitability. This role oversees inventory management, sales performance, team development, and operational efficiency to maximize return on investment and achieve departmental goals.

- $105,000 to $120,000 a Year

What You'll Do:
- Lead daily operations of the Parts Department to ensure efficiency, profitability, and high customer satisfaction.
- Develop, implement, and enforce department processes and best practices.
- Drive parts sales, gross margin performance, and inventory optimization.
- Build, lead, and develop a high-performing team (sales, warehouse, drivers).
- Create and execute annual business plans, budgets, and departmental strategies.
- Monitor KPIs and financial performance to meet revenue and P&L goals.
- Maintain accurate inventory control, including physical counts and audits.
- Actively engage customers to drive growth through relationship building and sales efforts.
- Promote cross-selling across departments to maximize business opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and industry standards.
- Resolve customer concerns and operational challenges in a timely, professional manner.
- Support succession planning and leadership development within the team.
- Attend required training and stay current on industry products and processes.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
What We're Looking For:
Required:
- Clean Driving Record (MVR in good standing.)
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong leadership, communication, and customer service skills.
- Proven ability to manage operations, solve problems, and make decisions under pressure.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to interpret information, develop action plans, and execute effectively.
- Basic computer and data entry proficiency.
- Ability to pass a post-offer background check, drug screening, and physical.
Preferred:
- 4+ years of experience in parts, automotive, or heavy-duty truck industry.
- Experience with heavy-duty, medium-duty, and trailer parts.
- Previous leadership or management experience.
- Knowledge of inventory systems, sales tracking, and dealership operations.
Work Environment and Physical Requirements:
This role operates in a fast-paced dealership environment and may require both administrative and physical activity. Candidates should be comfortable with:
- Prolonged sitting, standing, bending, and reaching.
- Lifting and moving items that may be heavy.
- Operating light to heavy-duty equipment.
- Working both indoors and outdoors in varying conditions.
- Working under pressure and adapting to changing priorities.
- Maintaining focus and professionalism in a high-demand environment.
