What do you get when you mix great Customer Service with a Commercial and Fleet flavor?
A nine truck Ram order going to Montana and Texas.
Let me explain: When a business owner from Montana broke down on I-70 and limped his truck into the Transwest Limon Service Department, a new customer relationship was born. Chris Coleman/Service Manager and the Technician Team immediately assessed the issues and ordered parts to repair the broken down vehicle.
While the customer was waiting on the showroom for his Service diagnosis to be completed, The Limon Sales Staff did its best to make an unpleasant situation better by assisting the customer with landlines, computers, and refreshments during his wait. After a few hours of staff interaction, the customer loosened up and started to inquire about just purchasing another truck and leaving his vehicle here till his return trip. His “Chissler” side started to surface and he stated that he has a very aggressive dealer in Montana but was interested in what we could do on a Ram 2500. The aggressive dealer in Montana went down with a whimper when we set up an FCA Fleet VIP account and absolutely obliterated their pricing.
The customer was irked that he had been paying too much previously but witnessed first hand all of the work that went into his Fleet discount and promised to be back to order an additional eight trucks. A week later he returned, picked up his repaired truck ($1800 repair order), and ordered eight more trucks. Transwest Limon has ramped up our Fleet and Commercial Department with personnel (Austin King/Vehicle Specialist), knowledge, and inventory in the past six months and success is starting to happen.
