THE 2017 JUNIOR LIVESTOCK AUCTION AND TRANSWEST!

The Junior Livestock Auction is all about the kids, agriculture and education, and it is a sentiment that you hear over and over from the bidders and every one at the National Western Stock Show.

Transwest makes the winning bid!

At the National Western Stock Show

Auction funds support junior exhibitor’s college educations as they plan for agricultural futures. A portion of the proceeds support the National Western Scholarship Trust, which funds scholarships in agriculture and rural medicine at colleges throughout Colorado and Wyoming. This year 80 students received funds to aid their education.

George Eidsness of Transwest Trucks made the winning bid of $107,500 for the Reserve Grand Champion Steer, exceeding last year’s bid of $70,000. The Reserve Grand Champion Steer was raised by 15-year-old Mikala Grady of Grandview, Texas.
