1. Check Your Battery Health

6. Test Your Heater & Defroster
You want to be comfortable on those long, winter drives. Make sure the heating system in your truck is working effectively to keep yourself warm and toasty. Don’t forget to check the defrosters to ensure your windows and mirrors are clear for safe driving.
7. Create an Emergency Kit
This may be the last tip, but it’s certainly not the least important. Equip your truck with an emergency winter kit. Pack blankets, a flashlight, first-aid supplies, and non-perishable snacks. These kits could potentially save your life if you break down during a storm.
