Renegade
Shop All Renegade RVsRenegade had to pave their own way into the RV industry. From the beginning in 1997, they would crash exclusive industry shows and set up outside when they weren’t approved. That kind of determination showed they weren’t going to follow the status quo. Their customers in motorsports had that same mindset. By focusing on what they build and offering a high-quality RV, Renegade has evolved into the luxury motorhome brand we all know today. While some RV manufacturers stay on the beaten path, over 20 years later, Renegade continues to choose the beaten path by building the best and settling for nothing less. That’s why they named their company Renegade!

Renegade Features
Features that make Renegade stand out from other Class C and Super C RVs include the twin screw tandem axles, available on select models. This setup allows the rear axle to run on its own driveshaft, giving you added traction, stability, and control. For those not used to a Super C, that means a gross vehicle weight rating of up to 54,000 lbs.
Renegade builds their RVs to last, shown in their two-piece end cap design. If you back into something, you only need to replace half instead of the whole cap, saving time and money.
They also listen closely to customer feedback through social media, surveys, and trade shows. That’s what drives updates like triple-slide floorplans on the 2026 Valencia, along with new bunkhouse layouts, added storage, updated lighting, and fresh color options. From floor to roof, every detail is built with durability and comfort in mind.

Newmar Before
When you think about Newmar RV, your first thought is probably those huge, beautiful King Aire coaches or the family-friendly Dutch Star. But what if we told you they started off building some of the best-built travel trailers and 5th wheels on the market? That was back in 1968, when they were founded by Marvin Newcomer and Marvin Miller in Amish Country, Nappanee, Indiana. Newmar has always been focused on innovation and strives to better itself, listening to customers’ feedback while also camping in these RVs themselves. That mindset eventually led them to start looking into building luxury Class A RVs. From 1980 to 2000, they developed some of the most significant features and amenities that RVers still enjoy today. -
Newmar Innovation
In 2000, Newmar introduced their STAR Foundation, which stands for Strong, True, and Robust. This feature is included in all luxury class A and Diesel pusher coaches built at the Newmar factory. No matter how big or small the coach is, this foundation helps create a quieter and smoother ride. Speaking of a smoother ride, they also developed Comfort Drive Adaptive Steering, which changed the game for long road trips. It allows drivers to adjust the effort required for steering, helping prevent fatigue and allowing them to stay comfortable behind the wheel for longer drives. Another innovative feature Newmar added in the 2000s is the ability for their Class A RVs to be built wheelchair-accessible. They discovered that once some customers needed extra assistance, they often had to give up their RVing adventures. In response, Newmar began offering wheelchair lifts, widened aisles, roll-in showers, and powered beds that can incline at the head or adjust the overall height of the bed. -
Newmar Still Evolving
More recently, in 2020, Newmar introduced their line of Super C RVs. These feature a full air-ride cab that provides an incredibly smooth ride, with engines ranging from 360 to 525 horsepower depending on the model. The newest class of RV they have stepped into is a compact Super C. In 2026, they released the Freedom Aire, providing those who enjoy Class C motorhomes with the luxury and comfort typically found in a Class A. -
The Evolution of Tiffin Motorhomes
What started off as a store that would sell the tools and materials to build, and anything somebody would use to furnish a house, evolved into what is now known as Tiffin Motorhomes. Alex Tiffin, Bob Tiffin’s father, started to purchase other businesses. One of the things he purchased was a cotton gin. At the time, Bob was 23 years old, and this is when they discovered his talent with machinery and management. Then, in 1972, the RV company where they lived in Alabama failed. Since Bob had the skill with machinery and leadership, he purchased it, and that is how Tiffin Motorhomes was born. In 2005, all three of Bob’s sons officially joined the business, and since then, grandchildren have also joined the team. -
Today's Tiffin
You can feel that Tiffin Motorhomes was thinking about their customers when they created these RVs. They truly care about the details, from the layout and materials all the way down to their solid cabinetry. Buying a Tiffin almost feels like becoming part of their family. Many of the components that go into a Tiffin RV are built by Tiffin right here in the United States, which helps create consistent quality and makes replacement parts easier to find if they’re ever needed. -
Tiffin Innovating
Tiffin is one of the RV industry's top innovators. Their goal is to create unique amenities so their customers will have an elevated experience in their RV adventures. A few examples of this innovation are their PowerGlide chassis, which provides the driver with reliability, durability, performance, and control. Part of the PowerGlide chassis is “V-Ride,” an exclusive rear suspension that allows for more cargo space and, more importantly, reduces the chances of body roll. With safety in mind, they have introduced RoadWatch, which helps the driver in all road conditions. One way Tiffin has allowed drivers to stay on the road longer is by developing their PowerDrive system. This helps with steering in strong crosswinds, pulls the wheel back to the center position after turns, and allows for a tilt/telescoping steering column with memory settings so that when drivers alternate, it does not need to be readjusted.
