New Super C
If you’re looking for all the comfort and amenities of a Class A coach but still need heavy towing capacity, look no further than a Super C. Super Cs are increasingly popular among outdoor and RV enthusiasts alike, and it’s not hard to see why!
Luxurious interior design featuring private baths, ample and comfortable seating, and room for the whole family make Super Cs feel every bit the resort vacation afforded in a Class A motorcoach. Add in the towing and off-grid capacities more typically seen in a Class C, and you’ve got the best of both worlds.
Super Cs are perfect for adventurers who want to get away in style and tow their gear - ATVs, a boat, an additional camper, a race car trailer, a daily driver, etc. - along for the ride. No matter what you need to haul or where, you can count on the rugged durability and stylish creature comforts provided in a Super C.
With models from Renegade, Newmar, Tiffin, and more, Transwest’s friendly and knowledgeable staff is available to help you find the best Super C for your next adventure. Transwest also provides many financing solutions as well as repair and maintenance services to help you keep your Super C RV super reliable.
A Super C Recreational Vehicle is similar in build to a Class C motorhome, but the difference is in the power of the engine and type of fuel. Unlike the Class C vehicles, the engine of a Super C RV is built on a heavy-duty front-engine chassis. Also, the engines are diesel-powered. Most Super C’s are built with an overhead bunk and an attached cab. This ensures that the RV has plenty of capacity to tow another vehicle.
Many people choose to purchase Super C RVs for their interior amenities, which are comparable to those of a Class A RV. They are also highly sought after for their powerful engines and ability to tow. While the engine of a Class C motorhome is a comparable option, the power and towing capacity of the Super C ranks much higher.
A Super C RV can cost from $150,000-$600,000, although on average they range from $250,000 to $300,000. The price of the vehicle depends on several different factors including the make, model, and whether the vehicle is new or used. Extra luxury amenities such as outdoor TVs or a diesel generator can also increase the price. A Super C motorhome is similar in style to the standard Class C motorhome. It’s recognizable due to the sleeping bed that hangs over the top of the cab. However, the Super C RV has much more towing capacity than the Class C motorhome. It also includes many luxury amenities like ample storage, top-of-the-line appliances, TVs, and lots of sleeping space.
If you are driving for personal use, most states do not require you to have a CDL to drive a motorhome. Some states, including Hawaii and Washington, D.C., do require a special license if the RV is over 26,000 lbs. Other states, such as Wisconsin and Indiana, require drivers to have a CDL if their motorhome is over 45 ft. long. Be aware that you may need a special endorsement or a non-commercial class B license to operate the motorhome, depending on its weight and location.
Because each state has its own licensure rules for motor vehicles, you should always check directly on your state’s official government website. If you are going on a cross-country road trip, remember to check with each state that you will be traveling through to see what licenses you need to operate the Super C RV.
The benefits of a Super C include more luxury and space than a traditional Class C but in a heavier vehicle with a more robust chassis and more towing capacity than a Class A. Several manufacturers have recognized this industry need and there are now multiple great options, including the Newmar Super Star, Newmar Supreme Aire, Renegade Valencia, Renegade Verona, and the Tiffin Allegro Bay. Our friendly and knowledgeable staff will consider all of your unique needs and wants in your Super C purchase to help you find the best possible fit for you.
A Super C motorhome is typically over 12 ft. tall on the outside, although the interior height will vary. The most common interior height is 7 ft. The Super C motorhome is known for its spacious interior and luxurious features. Models such as the Renegade XL come in different styles and are built on heavy-duty chassis, so they have incredible towing capabilities. The interior of these units are often completed with vinyl walls and panoramic windows.
Some models even include indoor or outdoor entertainment centers with 32 in. flat-screen TVs. Super C RVs are recognizable for their exterior design and attention to detail as well as their interior elegance and added amenities such as hardwood cabinets, deluxe carpeting, and hot water systems. The height of each motorhome varies depending on the make and model.
