The only thing with chasing sunsets and scenic landscapes is realizing and asking: how long can you actually stay off-grid? The short answer is anywhere from a couple of days to several weeks. The longer answer depends less on your destination and more on your RV. Water capacity, battery storage, solar, propane, and even your daily habits.

- Bring extra drinking water. Saving your onboard freshwater for cooking, dishes, and showers helps stretch every gallon.
